NASHVILLE, TN—Sophomore Alba Rosas Garcia recorded NJIT's only point of the match Saturday as the Highlanders dropped a 6-1 decision at Lipscomb in Atlantic Sun Conference women's tennis action at Huston-Marsh-Griffith Tennis Center.

Lipscomb (2-4 A-Sun, 12-6 overall) picked up the doubles point with wins at first and third doubles.  The Bison notched five out of six wins in singles competition for a 6-1 victory.

NJIT (0-5 A-Sun, 4-14 overall) lone point of the match came at third singles in a three-set tilt with Rosas Garcia featuring Hanna Victorsson.  Rosas Garcia dropped a tight 7-6 decision in the first set but bounced back to earn the win, 6-1, 10-6.

The Highlanders will conclude the regular season on April 16, hosting USC Upstate at 2pm in The Naimoli Family Athletic and Recreational Facility.
