COLUMBUS, OH—Freshman
Eduardo Ezcurra recorded a school- record 14
th-place finish in the men's epee event at the 2015 NCAA Fencing Championships hosted by Ohio State Friday at French Field House.
Eduardo Ezcurra, from Las Rozas, Madrid, went 10-13 and placed 14th in men's epee.
Freshman
Simon Rizell, from Gothenburg, Sweden, went 9-14 and placed 18
th in men's foil.
Sophomore
David Kong from Rutherford, NJ, went 7-16 and placed 21
st in men's foil. Last season at the 2014 NCAA Championships, Kong placed 18
th in the men's foil event.
In the combined men's and women's overall team event NJIT completed the men's event with 26 points for a current ranking of 12th in the nation. The NCAA combined the men's and women's championships into a joint six-weapon championship in 1990. The official national rankings will be determined after the women's event concludes on Sunday.
