STONY BROOK, NY—The NJIT women's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision at Stony Brook Sunday afternoon.
The lone winner on the day was senior
Martina Tripcovici at third singles. Tripcovici, who returned back to the court on April 4 against Manhattan after having shoulder surgery in the Fall, won in straight sets defeating Seawolves Adey Osabuohien, 6-2, 6-4.
The senior is now 4-0 in her last four matches.
NJIT will return to action on Tuesday, April 15 when the Highlanders host UAlbany at 1pm at Branch Brook Park before competing at the 2014 America East Championships on April 25-27.
