NJIT, which has won its last two games, improving to 5-4 on the season, will host Hofstra at 5:30 pm in the Fleisher Athletic Center.
The game is part of a men's-women's doubleheader, with the men hosting St. Francis Brooklyn at 7:30pm.
The Highlanders, 3-1 at home, have won four out of the last five contests. NJIT will look to record its first all-time win against the visiting Pride. The two teams last met in the final regular season of the 2013-14 season, with the Pride coming out on top 77-68. The game Tuesday will mark the first time the Pride will play the Highlanders in Newark.

Leah Horton, who scored a career-high 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds while classmate
Alana Dudley added 15 points, leading the Highlanders to a 52-48 victory.
The Highlanders have three players averaging double-figure scorers led by Horton with (11.9ppg) followed by point guard
Alyssa Albanese (11.4ppg) and
Alana Dudley, who has started the last two games for the Highlanders, is averaging (10.1ppg).
Horton tops the team in rebounds with 77 (8.6rpg) while Albanese has dished out a team-high 38 assists. Albanese and
Alana Dudley share team-high honors with 11 three-point field goals made on the season.
The Pride, like NJIT, have won four of the last five games and are winners of their last two, including a 65-55 victory at three-time defending America East champions.
Hofstra (5-3) travels to Newark after a 71-51 home victory over defending Northeast Conference champion Robert Morris.
Sophomore forward Elo Edeferioka, an honorable mention, on the all-Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) preseason team, is averaging a double-double with 12.5ppg and 10.5rpg followed by sophomore Kelly Loftus (11.1ppg) and freshman Ashunae Durant (10.3ppg).
Loftus, the current CAA Rookie of the Week, combined for 40 points, including a career-high 25 points at UAlbany on December 2 and followed up with a 15-point effort against Robert Morris on December 6.
Hofstra was selected fourth in the 2014-15 CAA Women's Basketball preseason poll, after finishing with a 14-15 overall mark, 8-8 in conference play.
