MADISON, NJ – Freshman Julia Aronov finished with a perfect 6-0 mark on the epee strip Sunday against Lafayette and Rutgers on the campus of Drew University.
 
Aronov, from Forrest Hills, NY, was the only Highlander to sweep both opponents.   Senior Jaila Graham went 5-1 on the day sweeping Rutgers and posting two wins against Lafayette.  The epee squad finished the day with a 14-4 mark.
 
Sophomore foilist Crystal Ramjattan finished with a 4-2 mark while classmate Opeyemi Alade went 3-3 on the saber strip.
 
The NJIT women's fencing team will return to action on March 3 at the NIFWA Championships in Swarthmore, PA.
