PHILADELPHIA—The NJIT women's fencing team competed at the 44th Annual Coach Nikki Franke Classic hosted by Temple.

Foil

• Sophomore Stella Frias was the top finisher for NJIT in the foil competition, finishing 19th.

• Captain Elena Fernandez Negron placed 26th.

Epee

• Junior Gala Krsmanovic was the top finisher for NJIT on the epee strip, taking 38th.

• Senior Megan Hillyer finished 47th for the Highlanders.

Saber

• Four Highlanders were featured in the sabre competition.

• Freshman Zoey Wen took 55th, Kaydine Gonzalez (T59th), Randa Shalabi (63rd) and Anastasiia Volynska (76th).
