EASTON, PA—Sophomore
Julia Aronov finished with an undefeated record, 12-0, Sunday at the Layette Invitational as the Highlanders competed against four opponents.
NJIT as a team went 2-2 picking up wins over Lafayette (14-13) and Yeshiva (16-11). Drew topped the Highlanders (16-11) while Rutgers came out on top (18-9).
Aronov, competing on the epee strip, blanked each of her opponents Sunday. The sophomore compiled a 25-2 overall record between the two Invitational's this past weekend (at Haverford and Lafayette).
Jaila Graham, also competing on the epee strip, almost finished the day undefeated recording an 11-1 record with her lone loss against Rutgers (2-1).
Newcomer
Michelle Potestio finished with a 9-3 overall record Sunday on the foil strip while
Hannah Huan compiled an 8-4 record. For the weekend, Potestio went 17-10 and Huan finished with a 16-11 record.
