New Jersey Institute of Technology Athletics

Senior Erick McNamara was named NJIT Male Athlete of the Week for his performance at the 2018 ASUN Outdoor Track & Field Championships that took place at North Florida over the weekend.

The Highlanders nabbed 17 points in the men’s javelin throw, led by McNamara who took first with a new personal-best mark of 54.69m.

McNamara is the only Highlander to ever repeat gold at the ASUN Championships, having won in 2017.
