Blake Brancato was selected as NJIT Male Athlete of the Week for his performance for the Highlanders over the weekend.

Senior Brancato was one of a handful of Highlanders to qualify for the Penn Relays. On Friday in the men’s 3000 steeplechase, Brancato broke the NJIT record clocking in at 9:17.93.

On Sunday, Brancato competed on his senior day at the Brick City Classic winning the 1500 meter run with a new meet record at 4:05.55.
