Julia Colombo, a sophomore from Sao Paulo, Brazil, led the Highlanders to a 2-0 week after sweeping La Salle on Tuesday and in a five-set thriller over Hofstra on Thursday.

The 6-foot middle had the best match of her Highlander career vs. Hofstra, notching a career-best16 kills, with only one error in 27 swings (.556 attack pct.). She also had three blocks (1 solo, 2 assists).

For the week, Colombo posted 21 kills (2.62kps) and a .556 attack percentage.

Colombo was named Great West Conference Player of the Week.
