Bobby Fisk, who was a basketball player in his own college days and coached the sport after college, joined the NJIT Athletic staff in September 2014 from Xavier University in Cincinnati, where he was assistant coach of strength and conditioning for the entire Musketeers' program, which competes in the Big East Conference.
Coach Fisk works with several Highlander Athletic teams, on all aspects of sports performance, including strength training, speed/agility/conditioning, nutrition and recovery.
Fisk, a native of Schenectady in the Capital Region of Upstate New York, spent over two years at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY, where, as head strength and conditioning coach he worked with successful teams, including women's soccer (William Smith College), which won the 2013 NCAA Division III National Championship; football (Hobart), which advanced to the Division III national quarterfinals in 2012 and the regional finals in 2011 and 2013; and basketball, where Hobart reached the second round of the 2012 NCAA Tournament.
Moving to the Division I level with Xavier in 2013-14, Fisk worked with all 16 of the school's teams, with a primary assignment to women's basketball, men's and women's soccer, baseball, and men's and women's tennis.
He is a graduate of the State University of New York College at Oneonta (BS, Business Economics, 2008), Averett University of Danville, VA (MBA, 2010), and California University of Pennsylvania (MS in Exercise Science, Performance Enhancement & Injury Prevention, 2013).
As a student-athlete, Fisk was a men's basketball player at NCAA Division I UMBC in Baltimore for three years before transferring to Oneonta, where he was on the team for two years, serving as captain as a senior and earning All-State University of New York Athletic Conference honorable mention.
As a senior for Oneonta's Red Dragons, he finished 16th in the nation in Division III in 3-point shooting percentage (.441) and 22nd in 3-pointers made per game (3.2) as a senior at Oneonta.
After graduation from Oneonta, he entered coaching while pursuing his master's degree at Averett, serving that program as assistant men's basketball coach (two years) and head strength and conditioning coach (one year).
Having received his master's degree from Averett in December 2010, he returned home to the Schenectady area and worked April 2011 to July 2011 as assistant strength and conditioning coach at nearby Siena College and with the minor professional basketball Albany Legends (head strength and conditioning coach).
Fisk holds multiple certifications and professional memberships.

NJIT’s head strength and conditioning coach Bobby Fisk named Drew Culp to be his assistant coach in September 2014.
Coach Culp works with several Highlander Athletic teams, on all aspects of sports performance, including strength training, speed/agility/conditioning, nutrition and recovery.
Culp, who earned his bachelor’s degree from Penn State University in 2010 and his master’s degree from Penn State in 2012, most recently served as a volunteer assistant strength and conditioning coach at nearby Seton Hall prior to accepting his position with NJIT.
At Seton Hall, Culp worked with the school’s Big East Conference men’s and women’s basketball teams, as well as with the men’s soccer team.
Between college and coming to New Jersey, Culp worked at Velocity Sports Performance in Irvine, CA. He was a Sports Performance Coach and Assistant Sports Performance Director. Specifically, he was the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the El Toro High School football team and also assisted in training National Football League combine athletes. He also offered private training to athletes in a range of sports and age levels.
Drew Culp was a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach at Penn State, working with the Nittany Lions football team for over a year through preseason 2012 and working with 11 Olympic Sports teams in his final semester.
He holds multiple certifications, including both strength and conditioning and first aid and CPR.

RORY GALLAGHER

Rory Gallagher joined the NJIT Strength & Conditioning staff as an Assistant Coach in February 2023.
Prior to Gallagher joining the Highlanders, he served as the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach at Fairleigh Dickinson University - Florham from January 2021 to January 2023. He was in charge of all aspects of the FDU-Florham strength and conditioning program and the 21 teams within the athletics department.
Before being elevated, Gallagher served as the Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Devils, working towards a Master's Degree in Sports Administration. During his time as the graduate assistant Gallagher assisted in all aspects of strength and conditioning for all 21 sports programs, heading men's soccer, women's lacrosse, volleyball and men's and women's Tennis.
Prior to his time at FDU, Gallagher was an Intern Strength and Conditioning Coach at NJIT. During his time as a Highlander, he was in charge of men's tennis and the outdoor track and field throwers. He also assisted in all aspects of strength and conditioning for all 19 sports.
Gallagher is a graduate of The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Health and Exercise Science. He's also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA, USAW Level 1, a Certified Exercise Physiologist through ACSM and holds Reflexive Performance Reset Level 1 certification.
Gallagher was recently the Director of Athletic Performance of Team Sports at Centercourt Sports Academy located in Morristown, NJ, from August 2017 to January 21, overseeing the sports performance training for all club sports teams.

EDWARD JULES

Edward Jules joined NJIT as an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach in August 2023.
Prior to joining NJIT, Jules was a Summer Volunteer Strength & Conditioning Coach (June 2023) at Rutgers, assisting in writing programs for the Women's Field Hockey, Men's Basketball and Men's Soccer teams. Jules learned how to use/integrate technologies such as Polar Team pro GPS and Sparta Science Force Plate to have metrics for each student-athlete.
He served as Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach at NYU (July 2022-June 2023), assisting the head coach with 21 varsity sports and performance testing.
Jules served as the Director of Sports Performance at Redline Athletics where he was responsible for all aspects of the strength and conditioning programs.
A former intern at Seton Hall University, Jules worked the Pirates’ NCAA Division I teams, including men's & women's basketball, and men's & women's cross country, and women’s volleyball.
Jules is a 2016 graduate of Montclair State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and is currently pursuing his master’s degree in Applied Kinesiology from the University of Florida.
He is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
