Mitchell, Stevens Earn 2025–26 America East Indoor Track & Field All-Academic Honors

​NEWARK, NJ — William Mitchell and Maddie Stevens have been named to the 2025–26 America East Conference Indoor Track & Field All-Academic Team, as announced by the league office on Wednesday.

Mitchell, a native of Howell, N.J., is a three-time Dean's List honoree majoring in business while maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA. On the track, he recorded a second-place finish in the men's 5,000 meters at the Armory Collegiate Distance Carnival and placed fifth in the event at the America East Championships with a time of 14:36.42. Mitchell also earned a spot on the 2025 Cross Country All-Academic Team.

Stevens, from Nashua, N.H., is a six-time Dean's List honoree currently enrolled in the M.S. Biology of Health program, where she holds a perfect 4.0 GPA. She previously graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in biology and a 3.846 GPA. Stevens placed third in the 4x400-meter relay at the 118th Millrose Games and finished eighth in the 400 meters at the IC4A/ECAC Indoor Track & Field Championships, earning All-East honors.

To be eligible for All-Academic honors, student-athletes must have at least sophomore athletic eligibility, maintain a minimum 3.30 GPA, and be a significant contributor to their team. The team is voted on by a committee composed of America East student-athlete support staff, athletic communications administrators, and faculty athletic representatives.
