NEWARK, NJ--NJIT Athletics will reveal its 2019-20 end of year award winners honoring NJIT student-athletes' outstanding achievements in competition and in the classroom, which will be presented on NJIT Athletics social media channels from May 5 to May 8. 

Student-Athletes, Coaches, Administration and fans are encouraged to stay connected through social media throughout each day.

Chi Alpha Sigma | 10AM
Chi Alpha Sigma recognizes varsity letter winning college athletes at four-year accredited colleges and universities.  In order to earn this distinction, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.4 with at least junior academic standing and be of exceptional moral character.

Leadership Academy | 2PM
The Highlander Leadership Academy is the first part of the NJIT Student-Athlete Development leadership programming. Freshman student-athletes from each team are nominated to take part in the academy, with a focus on identifying the leader within oneself.
