NEWARK, NJ -- Borys Endlé's record-setting weekend has earned him the America East Male Swimmer of the Week honor, announced by the conference Tuesday afternoon.
Endlé set a new Joel and Diane Bloom Wellness and Events Center pool record in the 200 Yard Breaststroke with a 1:59.01, winning the event. He is the reigning America East Conference Gold Medalist in the event.
The junior from Mulhouse, France, was also a part of NJIT's 1st Place finish in the 400 Yard Medley Relay. Endlé along with
Andrew Cellar,
Mohamed Walid, and Luca Angelini, timed a 3:21.94 in the event.
Endlé is on fire to start the 2026-27 season. In addition to this past weekend's success, he won a pair of events in NJIT's season-opening meet against Iona on October 3, taking both the 100 and 200 Yard Breaststroke in the NJIT victory.
NJIT hosts its alumni meet this Saturday before its next intercollegiate meet, October 31 at Fordham.
