NEW YORK, N.Y. - The NJIT track and field teams will compete at the Mets Indoor Championships on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Ocean Breeze Complex and the Millrose Games on Sunday at 1:15 p.m. at the Armory Track & Field Center.

The 4x400m relay teams will run at the Millrose Games, while the rest of the team will compete at the Mets Indoor Championships.
Jason Alvarez,
Eatoniel Brown,
Cassian Holland-Moritz, and
Jayden Smith will lace up for the men's 4x400m relay squad, while
Lucia Julvez,
Kierstin Ashby,
Hayley Lucido, and
Maddie Stevens will run for the women.

Dakota Jones ran the first sub-9-second 60m hurdles time in program history with a personal-best time of 8.98 at the Dr. Sander Scorcher Invitational.

Zaidah Lightener leads the America East in the long jump with a school record and college-best 6.02m at the Youree Spence Garcia Invitational.
Maria Owens also ranks fourth in the conference in the long jump (5.61m).

Raegan Bossard ranks second in the America East in the triple jump with a season-best 11.85m at the Youree Spence Garcia Invitational.

Three Highlanders rank in the top in the conference in the triple jump, including
Ryan Nartey (4th / 14.64m),
Matin Mahmoud (5th / 14.57m), and
Ralu Anosike (7th / 14.26m).

Isabella Patruno posted a personal-best high jump of 1.63m at the Wagner Shootout, which ranks sixth in the America East.

Caleb Duvelson broke the school record in the shot put with a personal-best 15.48m at the Wagner Invitational, which ranks eighth in the conference.

NJIT will have another split weekend at the Fastrack National Invite on Feb. 6 at Ocean Breeze Complex and the IC4A/ECAC Indoor Championships on Feb. 7-8 in Boston.
