ALBANY, N.Y. - The NJIT men's lacrosse team (1-10, 0-5 AE) will close out its regular season against UAlbany (6-8, 3-2 AE) on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. at Bob Ford Field at Tom & Mary Casey Stadium. The game will be streamed live on ESPN+, with Mike Tesoriero on the call.

NJIT enters the contest with a 1-10 record, most recently falling to UMBC, 19-11, on April 19.
Will Labartino (4 goals) and
Ethan Kaban (3 goals, 1 assist) both recorded hat tricks against UMBC. Kaban tallied the first points of his collegiate career.
JC Echezuria leads the Highlanders with 25 points this season (13 goals, 12 assists). He leads all America East freshmen and ranks sixth in the conference with 1.09 assists per game. He also ranks 11th in the America East and is third among all AE freshmen with 2.27 points per game. The freshman earned America East Rookie of the Week honors on Feb. 10 after tallying five points (3 goals, 2 assists) against St. John's. His five-point performance is the most points by a Highlander in a collegiate debut in program history.
Joey Schwarz won the America East Goalkeeper of the Week on March 24 after making a career-high 15 saves and posting a .625 save percentage against Binghamton on March 22. Schwarz has recorded 15 saves in three of the Highlanders' five America East games this season. He leads the America East with 11.60 saves per game in conference play.
Emmerick Dopona set career highs with four ground balls and five caused turnovers against Binghamton on March 22, leading the team with 15 CTOs this season. He ranks 6th in the America East with 1.36 caused turnovers per game and leads the America East with 2.40 caused turnovers per game in conference play.
Isaac Vanzomeren was named the America East Faceoff Specialist of the Week on March 3 after winning 15-of-25 faceoffs (60%) and recording nine ground balls against Drexel on Feb. 26. He also won 14-of-22 faceoffs (a season-best 63.6%) against Bryant. Vanzomeren ranks second in the America East and 14th in the nation with 6.44 ground balls per game.
Evan Schmitt won the America East Rookie of the Week on March 31 after recording the first five points (3 goals, 2 assists) of his career against Vermont on March 29.
Alystair Hemberger is second on the team with 14 points (12 goals, 2 assists) this season, while
Christopher Eiselein ranks third with 10 points (7 goals, 3 assists).
SCOUTING UALBANY
UAlbany enters the contest with a 6-8 record following a 15-14 overtime win over Yale on April 19. The Great Danes have clinched a spot in the America East Tournament and are riding a three-game winning streak.
Silas Richmond leads the America East and ranks 13th in the nation with 4.64 points per game. He has tallied 65 points (32 goals, 33 assists) this season. Max Neeson ranks fourth in the America East with 1.50 caused turnovers per game.
UAlbany leads the all-time series against NJIT, 4-0, including a 14-9 win in Newark last season.
Benjamin Roberts recorded three points (2 goals, 1 assist) in that matchup.
