NEWARK, N.J. - The NJIT men's lacrosse team (0-4) hosts Wagner (0-6) on Saturday at noon at Lubetkin Field at Mal Simon Stadium. The game will be streamed live on America East TV, with Adam Dobrowolski on the call.

NJIT enters the contest with an 0-4 record, most recently falling to Monmouth, 18-4, on March 5.
 
Isaac Vanzomeren was named the America East Faceoff Specialist of the Week on March 3 after winning 15-of-25 faceoffs (a season high 60%) and recording nine ground balls against Drexel on Feb. 26. Vanzomeren ranks second in the America East with 8.25 ground balls per game and fourth in the conference with a 57% faceoff percentage (53-of-93).
 
JC Echezuria earned America East Rookie of the Week honors on Feb. 10 after recording five points (3 goals, 2 assists) against St. John's. His five-point performance is the most points by a Highlander in a collegiate debut in program history. He leads the team with eight points this season (5 goals, 3 assists).
 
Alystair Hemberger is tied for a team-high five goals this season. He recorded the first hat trick of his collegiate career against St. John's on Feb. 8. Benjamin Roberts has recorded at least one point in 11 of the last 13 games.
 
Christopher Eiselein has scored four goals this season, including two against Monmouth. He leads the Highlanders with two man-up goals.
 
Ryan Sininsky and Russell Maher have scored three goals each this season. Maher was selected as an Impact Transfer to Watch by Inside Lacrosse.
 
Darren Romaine leads NJIT with four caused turnovers.
 
SCOUTING WAGNER
Wagner enters the contest with an 0-6 record, most recently falling to Sacred Heart, 20-6, on March 1.
 
Jake Mitchell leads the Seahawks with eight points this season (5 goals, 3 assists). Quin Hoke has a team-high seven caused turnovers.
 
Wagner leads the all-time series, 6-2, but NJIT has won the last two matchups, including a 15-5 win in Staten Island last season.
