NEWARK, N.J. - The NJIT men's lacrosse team (0-2) hosts Drexel (1-2) on Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. at Lubetkin Field at Mal Simon Stadium. The game will be streamed on ESPN+, with Adam Dobrowolski on the call. NJIT's matchup against Drexel is the only Division I men's lacrosse game being played on Wednesday.

NJIT enters the contest with an 0-2 record, most recently falling to UMass, 12-4, on Feb. 22.
JC Echezuria earned America East Rookie of the Week honors on Feb. 10 after recording five points (3 goals, 2 assists) against St. John's. His five-point performance is the most points by a Highlander in a collegiate debut in program history. Echezuria leads the team in points this season.
Alystair Hemberger leads the Highlanders with four goals this season. He recorded the first hat trick of his collegiate career against St. John's on Feb. 8.
Benjamin Roberts has recorded at least one point in 10 of the last 11 games.
Ryan Sininsky has three goals, and
Russell Maher has scored two goals this season. Maher was selected as an Impact Transfer to Watch by Inside Lacrosse.
Isaac Vanzomeren has won 26-of-47 faceoffs (55.3%) this season and ranks third in the America East with 8.50 ground balls per game. He recorded his first goal since 2023 against UMass.
SCOUTING DREXEL
Drexel enters the contest with a 1-2 record, most recently falling to America East foe UAlbany, 16-9, on Feb. 22.
Conor Hooley leads the Dragons with 10 points this season (4 goals, 6 assists). Aidan Shortley has won 31-of-55 faceoffs (56.3%) this season. Max Semple recorded a hat trick against UAlbany and was named to the 2025 CAA Preseason Team.
This is the first meeting in the all-time series between NJIT and Drexel.
