BOSTON, Mass. - The NJIT track and field teams will compete at the America East Indoor Championships on Saturday and Sunday at Boston University Track and Tennis Center. Competition will begin at 10:00 a.m. each day. The meet will be streamed live on ESPN+.
Kierstin Ashby posted a personal-best time of 57.96 in the 400m at the Showdown at The Heights, which ranks sixth in the America East Conference Championship.
In the 500m,
Lucia Julvez ranked third in the conference championship in the meet with a personal-best time of 1:16.10 at the Bruce Lehane Scarlet and White Invitational.
Sanai Jenkins recorded a personal-best time of 1:16.33 at the Bruce Lehane Scarlet and White Invitational, which is currently fifth in the America East Conference Championship.
Hayley Lucido ran an indoor-best time of 2:17.35 in the 800m at the Widener Indoor Classic, which ranks sixth in the America East Conference Championship.
Zaidah Lightener broke the school record in the long jump with a mark of 5.76m at the Dr. Sander Invitational, which ranks second in the America East. She also ranks fifth in the AE in the triple jump with a mark of 11.74m at the Seahawk Shootout.
Raegan Bossard broke the program record in the triple jump with a personal-best 11.90m at the Dr. Sander Invitational, ranking second in the America East Championship.
Pietro Carpentari delivered a personal-best time of 1:04.95 at the Mets Indoor Championships in the 500m, which ranks fourth in the conference championship.
Daniel Wilson ran a personal-best time of 1:52.86 in the 800m at the Fastrack National Invite, which currently ranks sixth in the America East.
Anthony Dvorsky broke the school record with a personal-best time of 14:38.22 in the 5,000m at the Bruce Lehane Scarlet and White Invitational, which places him eighth in the conference championship.
Jeusten Jourdain recorded a personal-best time of 8.51 at the Dr. Sander Invitational, which ranks seventh in the America East Conference Championship.
Ryan Nartey's (14.23m) triple jump performance at the Crimson Elite ranks fourth in the conference while
Marvellous Bassey (14.00m) competed at the Dr. Sander Invitational, which ranks seventh in the America East.

NJIT will travel back to Boston in two weeks for the IC4A/ECAC Indoor Championships on March 7-9.
