CONTOOCOOK, N.H. - The NJIT cross country teams will compete at the America East Championships, hosted by UMass Lowell, on Friday at Hopkinton State Fairgrounds. The men's 8K race will start at 11:00 a.m., followed by the women's 5K at noon. The meet will stream live on America East TV.

Jessie Fotheringham earned the America East Female Performer and Rookie of the Week after becoming the first Highlander in program history to earn All-East honors. She placed seventh with a personal-best 6K time of 21:02.4 at the ECAC Championships and has recorded three consecutive top-10 finishes to start her collegiate career.

On the men's side,
Anthony Dvorsky (5th / 24:56.3) and
William Mitchell (8th / 25:11.3) earned top-10 finishes at the Mets Championships, each setting personal-bests in the 8K. Lasse Bjørn Jensen was named America East Male Rookie of the Week after running a personal-best four-mile time of 20:15.5 at the Main Line Invitational.

Next Up
After a week off, NJIT will compete at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional on Friday, Nov. 14 at the Goodman Campus Cross Country Course in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
