BURLINGTON, Vt. — The NJIT men's lacrosse team saw its historic seven-game undefeated run and nation-best eight-game winning streak snapped in its America East opener at the hands of defending regular season champion Vermont, 12-9, Saturday afternoon at Virtue Field.

  • The Catamounts stopped the Highlander run with a goal with 8:16 to go and added three more to extend their lead to four, 10-6.
