VESTAL, N.Y. - Kelsey Ramos scored her third goal of the season in the 57th minute, assisted by
Caroline Caputo, but the game between NJIT (3-9-2, 0-4-1 AE) and Binghamton (5-5-3, 2-2-1 AE) ended in a 1-1 draw on Thursday night at Bearcats Sports Complex.
Ramos' goal marked her 18th and 19th point of her NJIT career, which is ninth in the Division I era.
In the 17th minute, goalkeeper
Samantha Constantine made two crucial saves to keep the game scoreless. A few minutes later,
Briana Andreoli had a chance in the box, but Binghamton goalkeeper Kaitlyn Williams made a kick save.
Mackenzie Ryder scored the first goal of the game with a header off a corner kick in the 25th minute, assisted by Anna Buckwalter.
Williams made three saves in the first half, as the Bearcats had a 1-0 lead at halftime.
In the 70th minute, Binghamton appeared to score off a free kick, but an offsides call kept the game tied at 1-1.
Constantine made a diving save in the 82nd minute off a Ryder shot in the box. The NJIT goalkeeper recorded a season-high eight saves.

Ciara Adams, and
Gibson Graham played the full 90 minutes.
Binghamton led in shots (17-8), shots on goal (9-4), corner kicks (5-2), and possession (64%-36%).
