Men's Lacrosse Earns Academic Team Honor From USILA

NEWARK, N.J. — This week, the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) announced its 2023 Academic Team Awards, presented by Blatant Lacrosse.

The Highlanders were one of 37 Division I programs to make the complete 113-member list of teams from across all three NCAA divisions that earned a collective 3.0 GPA. NJIT also joined Binghamton as the only America East schools to represent the conference on the honor roll.

Earning the highest GPAs for their respective divisions were Harvard (Division I), Lenoir-Rhyne (Division II), and Williams (Division III).

NJIT was led in the classroom this season by senior Liam Brown (America East Man of the Year finalist, CSC Academic All-District, America East All-Academic), junior Garrett Muscatella (CSC Academic All-District, AE All-Academic), and junior Isaac Vanzomeren (AE All-Academic).
