Box Score NATCHITOCHES, LA — The NJIT women's tennis team's four-match Spring Break Louisiana road trip began on Tuesday evening with a tough 6-1 defeat against fellow Southland Conference member Northwestern State.

As an affiliate member of the Southland Conference, the Highlanders' trip down south gives them an opportunity to face some of their conference foes in non-conference action before April's conference tournament.

NJIT's lone victory against the Demons came at No. 6 as Paula Menendez Alvarez won her flight in straight sets.

NEXT UP
NJIT will have a day to rest before playing three straight, beginning with a March 16th showdown against Nicholls State in Thibodaux.
