HACKENSACK, NJ–Senior Dominika Pawlowska led the NJIT women's fencing team with a 9-1 overall record in the epee competition at the FDU Invitational Sunday afternoon.
The Highlanders went 3-2 on the day with wins over Yeshiva (27-0), CCNY (23-4) and Drew (16-11).
Pawlowska, who led the epee squad to a 33-12 overall record, finished with a 90% winning percentage. Paula Zugasti followed with nine wins and Gala Krsmanovic recorded eight wins.
In the women's saber competition, Cassandra Sehic and Janine Bacchus-Joseph each notched nine wins followed by Dorottya Berczy with eight wins.
The NJIT women's fencing team will return to action on March 11 at the NCAA Regionals.
