Track and Field Kicks Off First Day Of Double Meet Weekend

BOSTON & LOWELL, Mass. — The NJIT track and field teams began their unique two-day, two-meet weekend on Friday, with the men's and women's squads splitting up to compete at the Boston University John Thomas Terrier Classic and the UMass Lowell Riverhawk Invitational, respectively.

BU Terrier Classic (Men)

HIGHLANDER VICTORIES

Jacob Leigh picked up the win in the high jump with a victorious leap of 1.95m / 6-4.75.

Jacob Leigh: 5th in 60 meters (7.00)
Jaden Johnson: 4th in Triple Jump (14.01m / 45-11.75)

Jacob Leigh: 7th in 200 meters (21.88; broke own record of 21.9 from Feb. 12, 2022)
