Box Score WEST POINT, N.Y. — The NJIT women's tennis team wrapped up the weekend with a 4-1 neutral site victory over the Georgetown Hoyas Sunday afternoon on the campus of Army West Point.
After falling behind after losing the double point two games to one, the Highlanders proceeded to clinch the match by earning victories in their top four flights.
Amira Badawi tied the match after a straight set 6-3, 6-3 win at No. 3 singles,
Aya El Sayed put NJIT ahead for good after rallying in three sets at No. 1 (3-6, 6-3, 6-1), and
Joleta Budiman (6-7, 6-1, 6-0. at No. 2) and
Sandra Dzhambazov (7-5, 3-6, 6-4) set the final margin with wins in their flights.
