NEWARK, N.J. — The NJIT women's tennis team will play its first home match of the 2022 Friday afternoon as the Highlanders host in-state foe Fairleigh Dickinson at the Naimoli Family Athletic and Recreational Facility.

RECENT HISTORY
NJIT is currently on a four-match win streak against FDU - all in Newark - dating back to the 2014-15 season:

• 3/8/2015: Won 4-3
• 2/2/2018: Won 7-0
• 2/1/2019: Won 6-1
• 1/31/2020: Won 7-0

LAST TIME OUT
The Highlanders will look to bounce back from its last match, a 5-2 road loss against UPenn. NJIT picked up its pair of points during singles as Amira Badawi took the No. 3 flight in straight sets and Sandra Dzhambazov held off her opponent at No. 6 for a three-set victory.
