NEWARK, NJ - It's Homecoming Weekend on the campus of the New Jersey Institute of the Technology and the Highlanders' women's volleyball team will host a pair of matches, on Friday evening and Sunday afternoon in the Wellness and Events Center.

Both of this weekend's matches will be streamed free of charge. Friday's match will be available on AmericaEast.TV, while Sunday's will be streamed on ESPN3. The match against Binghamton on Sunday is the first-ever home ESPN3 or ESPN+ broadcast in program history.
Home Court Advantage
The Highlanders enter the weekend with a 3-1 record at home, earning wins over Saint Peter's, Iona, and Hartford in the WEC. The Iona victory is the team's most impressive of the weekend as the Gaels are now 11-6 on the season and 6-1 in MAAC play.
Branch's Big Season
NJIT senior
Courtney Branch is having her best season as a Highlander as she leads the America East in both hitting percentage (.414) and total blocks (65). Branch's hitting percentage currently ranks 15th in the nation and her 14-kill performance in 15 attacks (.933%) is the top percentage by any Division I player this season with at least 15 attacks in a match.
Setting the Tone
Senior
Juliana Impaglia has served as the team's setter this season and has already dished out 482 assists (7.77 a/s) on the year. Impaglia is one of two team captains, with classmate
Katelyn Bliesner being the other.
We Are Honored
Several Highlanders have earned awards this season, including three America East Weekly honors. Earlier this season, freshman
Doga Emil was named America East Defensive Specialist of the Week, Impaglia was named America East Setter of the Week, and
Elley Torres took home America East Player of the Week honors.
