PHILADELPHIA--The NJIT women's fencing team went 2-1 at the Temple Invitational Saturday afternoon registering wins over Lafayette and Johns Hopkins paced by three different Highlanders registering seven overall wins.
NJIT topped Lafayette (19-7) and Johns Hopkins (19-8) while host Temple recorded a 19-8 victory over the Highlanders.
Dominika Pawlowska (epee), Paula Zugasti (epee) and Dorottya Berczy (saber) each notched seven wins at the Invitational. Cassandra Sehic (saber) added six wins followed by Marina Arrese (epee) and Paloma Almodovar (foil) notched five wins.
The Highlanders will return to action on March 14 at the Drew Invitational in Madison, NJ.
