NEWARK, NJ - Diego Willis, a junior on the NJIT men's basketball team, spoke with Matt Provence about being in Mexico during the COVID-19 Pandemic and several other topics as he moves into an upperclassman role on the Highlanders this season.

Willis, a native of Hermosillo, Mexico, who played his high school basketball in Spain, is one of three international players in the program, alongside fellow juniors Kjell de Graaf (Netherlands) and Souleymane Diakite (Mali).

The guard took a big step last season as a sophomore and looks to further his role both as a player and a leader in 2020-21.
