Best Memory at NJIT?
Brian: There are so many memories, I can't say there is just one; meeting my wife, hanging out in the dorms with teammates and friends, late nights to Tops Diner (especially after wins) anything with those baseball teams from Florida Trips to away game road trips to beating Army at West Point ... alright you want one memory, every live batting practice dual against
Kwesi Mitchell.
Kelly: The relationships made with teammates and friends, and the experiences we shared with each other will always be the memories I treasure the most from my time at NJIT.
Advice to current NJIT player
Brian & Kelly: The 4-5 years go by really quickly, enjoy every second of it. Find ways to take advantage of opportunities presented to you, regardless of their perception. And definitely put those facilities to use, you have no idea how good you have it now.
How did your time at NJIT prepare you for life after graduation?
Brian and Kelly: NJIT gave us the opportunity to be a student-athlete and play the sports we love at a high level. The academic reputation of NJIT opened up immediate doors for us after graduation. We were able to obtain opportunities supporting our military at NAVAIR. Our education and experiences from the athletic teams have prepared us to make a positive impact in our professional field and community, and we are very grateful for being part of the NJIT family.
Who had the most impact in your life?
Brian and Kelly: Our parents without a doubt made the most impact in our lives up until college. From there we feel it's been a combination of a lot of people, our parents, brothers, each other husband/wife, teammates, coaches, coworkers ... and these days it's definitely our kids.
