Budhu, Singh, and Daramola Lead Track At Metro Championships

NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. --- The NJIT men's and women's track teams finished the 2019 Metropolitan Outdoor Championships Saturday evening on the campus of Rutgers University. The Highlander men maintained their Day 1 position and ended the meet in fourth place with 107 points while the women ended the competition in eighth place with 28 points.

Ryan Budhu, Pritinder Singh and Esther Daramola picked up medals for each program, with Budhu taking the 800 meter title, Singh winning the decathlon, and Daramola earning bronze in the heptathlon.
