Track and Field Completes Indoor Season At ECAC/IC4A Championships

BOSTON --- Indoor season came to an end Saturday evening for the NJIT track and field program after its time at the ECAC/IC4A Championships at the Boston University Track and Tennis Center.

The highlight of the two-day meet for the Highlanders was the resetting of another NJIT relay record. The 4x800 Relay quartet of junior Ryan Budhu and freshmen Jonathan Mobisa, Andrew Shenoda, and Gavin Camby lowered the Highlander record in the event with their time of 7:46.95. The Highlanders finished 13th with their record time, tied for the highest finish for an NJIT student-athlete at the meet. Sophomore Nasiem Chandler also finished 13th in the long jump after a leap of 6.76m (22-2.25).

NJIT will kick off outdoor season on March 21 at the University of North Florida Spring Break Invitational in Jacksonville.
