The NJIT Highlanders (12-3) are off to a historic start in 2018-19.  Host Tim Capstraw previews the upcoming ASUN Conference portion of the Highlanders schedule with third-year head coach Brian Kennedy.

NJIT is set to open league play on Saturday at 4pm, welcoming Kennesaw State (3-12) to NJIT's Wellness and Events Center.

The Highlanders lead the all-time series against Kennesaw State Owls, 4-2.

NJIT swept the Owls in the 2017-18 series, picking up a 66-60 victory on January 24 in Kennesaw, GA and followed up five days later in Newark, with a three-point victory, 74-71.  The Owls last won on January 30, 2017, 54-53, in the old Fleisher Athletic Center.
