WEST POINT, NY—The NJIT women's tennis team posted six wins on day two at the West Point Invitational hosted by Army.
Rookie
Joleta Budiman recorded two singles victories against St. Bonaventure's Maria Pinto Ribeiro, 8-5, and Valparaiso's Claire Czerwonka, 8-2.

Advaita Saravanan notched two wins in doubles action. The duo recorded a 7-5 win over host Army's Bou and Vincent and followed up with a 7-6 (8-6) win against Quinnipiac's Lohaphaisan and Vasile.
Mikaya Hamilton earned a pair of wins in singles action, notching an 8-6 victory over Colgate's Elinor Simek and Sacred Heart's Laura Crivei.
NJIT will continue play on Sunday at 9am. Singles semifinals will begin the day, followed by the doubles finals and concluding with the singles final. All matches will be played at Malek Outdoor Tennis Center.
