Box Score WASHINGTON, DC – Host No. 18 Georgetown defeated NJIT men's lacrosse 15-6 on Saturday afternoon at Cooper Field.
Collin Fogerty posted his first career hat-trick, scoring half of the Highlander goals.
Aaron Forster continued his point scoring streak with his goal and assist.
Junior
Ryan Darrow scored the other two NJIT goals, while
Cole Robillard and
Ryan Kaden each added assists.
For the Hoyas, Jake Carraway posted a game high eight points on four goals and four assists, and Robert Clark added a game-high five goals.
Georgetown took a 10-0 lead going into the second quarter until Darrow put the Highlanders on the board.
NJIT used two goalies in
Alexzander Hunt in
Cameron Cronk, freshman Hunt tallied five saves, while Cronk posted two in the second half.
Nick Marrocco earned his ninth win of the season in 44 minutes of play, while Jack Stephenson, Owen McElroy (three saves), and Nate Cornblatt (one save), each posted time in net for the Hoyas.
The Highlanders compete in their final game of 2018 Saturday, April 29 at UMass Lowell for a 1pm game.
