NJIT opened the season at Saint Peter's, dropping a 70-57 decision, despite a career-night for junior Danielle Tunstall, who combined for a double-double, pouring in 24 points and grabbing 14 rebounds.

Guarino matched her career mark in points (24) at Howard in a 77-57 loss in Washington, DC.  Guarino shot 6-for-13 from the field, 5-for-10 from three-point range and 7-for-7 from the free-throw line in an impressive effort.  Guarino last scored 24 points at North Florida on February 17, 2018.
