WEST POINT, NY – NJIT men's tennis concluded the Army shootout on Sunday at the Lichtenberg Tennis Center and Malek Courts.
The Highlanders finished up doubles play against Fairfield, and singles against St. John's.

Ira Miller commented on the team's play, "Another outstanding day for Highlander tennis. The guys stepped up big winning 3 of 5 singles matches over St. John's"
NJIT went 2-2 in doubles with Fairfield.
Tomi Antoljak and
Aleksa Petrovic defeated Ethan Ammon and Anthony Caputo 6-3 in third doubles and
Lukas Zvikas and partner
George Svensson won against Dylan Appel and Alan Magid in fourth doubles.
The Highlanders were 3-for-5 against St. John's in singles play.
Zvikas earned another win for himself grabbing a victory against Alex Roszkowski in fifth singles, 6-1, 6-4.
The other two wins came from
Jan Cimrman who defeated Dusan Vukicevic 6-4, 4-6, 10-6 in second singles and
Zac Castagna picked up a win in fourth singles over Andrei Crapcenco 6-4, 2-6, 10-6.
Next up for the Highlanders is the Binghamton/Ivy Plus Invitational hosted by Binghamton on September 22.
