Rafaella Sampaio recorded NJIT's only point of the match at Army West Point Saturday, as the Black Knights defeated visiting NJIT, 6-1.
Army West Point swept the doubles contests and won five out of six singles contests for its third straight win and 10
th overall.
NJIT (3-5) won its only point of the match at second singles. Sampaio defeated Eva Sung by identical scores, 6-3, 6-3.

Amanda Helminsky battled out a three-set tilt at sixth singles against Army West Point's Haley O'Connor, but came out on the short end. Helminsky took the first frame, 7-6. O'Connor won the next to sets, 7-6, 10-7 to earn the win.
NJIT will return to action on March 4, hosting St. John's at 6pm.
