NEWARK, NJ— NJIT will conclude its regular season with a non-conference match against St. Bonaventure on October 29 with a 2pm start at Kean University East Campus Facility in Hillside, NJ.
With the ASUN Conference Men's Soccer regular season ending on Saturday, two of the six postseason spots are still up for grabs, while all six seeds remain undecided. Jacksonville, Stetson and USC Upstate will battle for the final two spots. North Florida and FGCU are still in the running for the regular season title and top seed.
The Ospreys remain the lone unbeaten team in conference play, as they travel to USC Upstate in search of the regular season title and No. 1 seed. FGCU heads to Nashville needing a win and a UNF loss or tie to secure another regular season crown. Stetson hosts Jacksonville Saturday night, with the winner earning a berth to the 2016 ASUN Men's Soccer Championship.
NJIT which tallied a point in the draw against No. 22 North Florida Wednesday afternoon, sits in third place with 10 points. NJIT will be the #3 seed with a Lipscomb loss and a #4 seed with a Lipscomb win/draw.

The Highlanders closed out the ASUN regular season campaign with an impressive 1-1 draw at league leaders North Florida. Newcomer
Juan Zapata scored his first goal of the season, becoming the ninth different Highlander to tally a goal this year.
The draw was the fourth of the season for the Highlanders, marking the third-straight season, the Highlanders have recorded four draws. In the DI era for NJIT (first season 2004), the team record is five set in 2005.
The Highlanders have posted seven shutouts this season, the most in the ASUN and tied for third most in the NCAA.

Victor Pujades, who has played all but 90 minutes of NJIT's matches this season, has accounted for all seven shutouts.

A Look at St. Bonaventure (4-10-2)
St. Bonaventure enters Saturday's contest with a 4-10-2 overall mark. The Bonnies are coming off a 5-0 loss at Saint Louis on October 22. Prior to the Bonnies loss at Saint Louis, St. Bonaventure won three out of four matches in the stretch.
NJIT and St. Bonaventure have two opponents in common – George Washington and Niagara. The Bonnies notched 1-0 victories against both while the Highlanders drew even at George Washington (1-1 in 2OT) and recorded a 3-2 victory at Niagara.
Kieran Toland in the goal (4) and point (8) leader while three different Bonnies have been credited with an assist.
St. Bonaventure earned the Hero College Sports News defensive performance of the week in their weekly D1 Men's Soccer Wrap for its 1-0 win over George Washington on October 19.
In the Bonnies final home match of the regular season, St. Bonaventure picked up a huge 1-0 win over conference foe George Washington.
While Bonaventure Akinlosotu was the hero of the day securing the only goal of the game, a huge performance from the defense helped solidify the victory.
Keeper Alex Olday came up with the stop of the week for the Bonnies, stuffing a penalty kick that would have knotted the game up midway through the second half.
