NEWARK, NJ - The NJIT men's ice hockey team completed a season sweep with a dominant 6-0 win over Stevens on Friday night.

The Highlanders scored early and often, and freshman goaltender
Martin Paro notched his first career shutout, stopping all 28 shots he faced.

David Ferrero started the scoring in the first period with a pair of goals, and sophomore defender
Paul Roth tallied his first goal in the third period.

Three more Highlanders,
Will Hoer,
Christopher Murphy, and
Michael Crincoli each added a goal as well. Murphy also posted three assists in the win.
The Highlanders will travel to Philadelphia on October 22 to take on Colonial states Collegiate Hockey League opponent Penn for a 2pm start.
