VESTAL, NY—The NJIT women's tennis team closed out the 2015 regular season Sunday at Binghamton, dropping a 7-0 decision at the Binghamton University tennis complex.
Binghmaton (8-9) won the doubles point and swept singles competition to blank the visiting Highlanders.
The closest match for the Highlanders came at fourth singles, as freshman
Ines Vujkovac battled out a three-set tilt against Shea Brodsky. NJIT's Vujkovac won the first set, 7-5 (5) but was downed in the next two frames, 6-2, 12-10.
Next up for the Highlanders is the 2015 America East Tournament, which will be hosted by Binghamton, beginning Friday, April 24th through Sunday, April 26th.
