CHARLOTTE—The NJIT men's tennis winning streak was halted at four Tuesday evening when the visiting Highlanders were swept, 7-0, at UNC Charlotte at Halton-Wagner Tennis Complex.

The 49ers cruised to a 7-0 victory behind six straight singles victories and two doubles wins improving to 8-2 on the season.  The Highlanders, which entered the match on a four-match win streak, drop to 8-5 on the season.

Charlotte won two doubles matches to claim the doubles point and all six singles contests to claim the victory.

NJIT will return to action on Wednesday when the Highlanders visit Presbyterian.
