NEW YORK – NJIT men's fencing competed in MACFA B.vs C, held at Hunter on Sunday.
The Highlanders defeated Navy 23-4, Maryland 20-7 and William & Mary 21-6.
The foil squad logged a 26-1 overall record at the meet, led by
Chris Saulys and
Nicholas Concepcion. The freshmen both went undefeated for NJIT against all three teams, each posting a 9-0 overall record on the day. Senior
Maxwell Miller was undefeated against Navy and Maryland and recorded an 8-1 overall record.
Freshman
Ege Ayan led the epee squad going 3-0 against both Navy and Maryland and posted an 8-1 overall record. Senior
Ian Constantin recorded a 7-2 overall record while
Dan Boylan went 6-3 on the day.
Leading the saber squad was freshman
Tristan Quinton who went undefeated against Navy and Maryland and finished the day with an 8-1 record.
Men's fencing heads to Fairfield, CT next to participate in the Sacred Heart Invitational on December 6.
