WEST ORANGE, NJ--The Seton Hall Pirates overcame a third period deficit to hand the NJIT men's club ice hockey team their first loss of the season, 4-3, at South Mountain Arena.
The two-goal rally spoiled an otherwise strong performance by goaltender
Thomas Pyrka.
Phil Lelikov and
Michael Crincoli as well as an outstanding short-handed tally by senior
Kyle Bendel scored their first career goals.
NJIT will return to action on Sunday at 1pm when the Highlanders host Princeton at the Prudential Center.
