NEWARK, NJ—The NJIT men's club ice hockey team cruised to their first victory of the 2015 semester as the Highlanders defeated Steven's 11-3, on Sunday evening at the Prudential Center. 

The team effort consisted of 11 different point scorers while Thomas Pyrka made 32 saves on 35 shots faced.  The Highlanders got off to a quick start scoring two goals in 16 seconds just six minutes into the first period and 8 in the first two periods.
