WILLIAMSBURG, VA—The NJIT men's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision at William & Mary Thursday afternoon at the Millie West Tennis Facility.
NJIT, which was scheduled to begin its Spring Break matches in Norfolk, Virginia on March 19, was rained out of that contest. But the Highlanders got back to action on Thursday, March 20 at William & Mary.
William & Mary won its fourth straight match improving to 10-6 on the season while the visiting Highlanders fall to 8-5.
The Tribe won for the eighth time in its last nine matches sweeping the doubles contests and won five out of six singles contests.
The lone winner on the day for NJIT was sophomore
Andres Alban at third singles. Alban won by identical scores, 6-3, 6-3 against William & Mary's Aaron Chaffee

NJIT will return to action on Tuesday, March 25 when the Highlanders visit Monmouth at 2pm.
