NJIT Offensive Explosion Stuns Seton Hall

NJIT’s Corrado Mancini (front page) scored a hat trick while Michael Criscitello (above) added two goals of his own

NEWARK, NJ—NJIT's Corrado Mancini scored the first three of his four goals in the first period for a natural hat trick as the Highlanders defeated visiting Seton Hall, 10-6.

Jason Anagnos had his own hat trick and Michael Criscitello added two goals of his own.

NJIT's line accounted for nine of the 10 Highlander goals.  Freshman Alexander Fleischmann went end-to-end, powered his way around a Seton Hall defender and lifted a backhander to close out the scoring.

The game was a bit sloppy, but that just added to the excitement for the large home crowd as the special teams put on a show.  Mancini & Anagnos each had a short-handed goal and seven more were scored with a man advantage.
