NEWARK, NJ—The Fordham Rams completed a sweep of the weekend home & home preseason series with a hard fought 3-2 victory over NJIT.

Once again NJIT scored first with Jason Anagnos finishing off a brilliant play with assists from Mike Criscitello and Corrado Mancini. 
 
Fordham tied it on a power play late in the period and had the momentum going into the second period. 
 
The Rams took the lead and as hard as they tried the Highlanders couldn't get anything going until Mancini fired the puck past the Fordham goalie as the buzzer went off at the end of the period. 
 
Unfortunately NJIT couldn't get anything going in the third period and when John Oddo scored his second goal of the game it was all the Rams needed.
 
Next up is Lafayette on Friday, September 20 at 9pm at Prudential Center in the Highlander's season opener.
